Inventory completely gone

I had some problems logging in this Thursday, I kept on crashing, so I gave up. When I logged back in yesterday (Friday) after updating SL it seems my entire inventory has gone. Folders and subfolders are there but no content. I thought it was a glitch so relogged a couple of times but nothing. Today I log in and same problem: no inventory. This while I still have clothes on, my Omicron hud still works, and my friendslist is still complete, while the hud, the clothing, and the calling cards are no longer in my inventory.

I submitted a support ticket to Linden Lab, but don't expect they give a rat's ass. They didn't help me before when my objects magically disappeared from my rented land, when there was money missing, etc. They seem to only help out people who send them a bag of money first, people with basic accounts who don't want to upgrade to premium because of the rediculous VAT etc. (yep, I'm from Europe) won't receive proper support. At least that is my experience.

However, did anyone had the same problem as I do? And what did you do about it, can anyone help me please?

Have you tried reinstalling SL Merv?
I had a similar problem with my groups not showing up, a reinstall seemed to fix it.

just checking:
- have you done a clear cache?
- bring up the inventory window, click on the Recent Items tab, any thing loading?
- on the inventory window, click File->Reset Filters

Yes I have reinstalled SL, cleared cache, etc.

When I open Recent Items, there are items loading that are missing in my inventory. Also somehow most of my notecards returned and most objects in the Objects folder too. The folders I made myself are empty, also no content in Landmarks, Calling Cards, Body Parts, etc, etc. I have now 2,314 items in my inventory, while I had over 10,000 items, so still a lot is missing.

Hope it will return soon.
(still no response from Linden Lab, though)

Do this:

1. Clear your cache and click on your general tab and be sure that you are able to choose your login location when you get the login screen.

2. Restart SL and login to "Welsh".

3. Open your inventory and type single characters into the search field.
Try "a" for a while, then try "b" and so on.

Explanation: Logging into a different sim where you don't frequent may cause the inventory server to kick in or you may prompt a different server to "Give me my stuff!".

These are instructions I received from 2 different Lindens recently when experiencing inventory issues...something like that.

Nothing worked, I tried everything. (still no reply from Linden Lab, though btw).

After TP-ing out of a very laggy crowded sim I crashed and when I logged back in and checked my inventory it says: Fetching 5,712 items (...and counting)

In the meanwhile it has fetched 8,000+ items so almost at 10,000 items. It seems all my items has returned.

I am so glad. )))))
