Trying to login to SL on my new comp. Except I can't login. The part where it says that it is suppose to appear frozen is actually frozen. I went and watched a 2hr movie and came back... lol.. yea it's not working. It did skip to the furthest point (1/4 way) for auto-update but then it restarts and sticks at the same spot. Waited 30 min and came back to the same screen.
Didn't find any help through search. So A tip would be nice. I let it ride for the last couple weeks thinking someone else would complain of the same problem and a solution would arise. No luck..
Core2 Duo 2.8, 7600GT, XP .. running 1.41.. Turned off firewall, updated drivers (again) and a number of other options to no avail. Read a bit about the dual core setups but nothing was explaining why this would stick.
