I'm giving this issue it's own thread because it appears other people are having the same trouble.

When I open up a Group IM box, nothing ever appears in it. I never see what it typed, and what I typed does not show up. However, personal IMs still work, and people have told me that they can see my Group IM text.

This has been going on since about the time of the v1.9 upgrade.

I have an alt, and it gets the same problem. Another user on my home network also has the same problem, and also with his alt.

Any clues? Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yup, haven't tried since, but on sunday was trying to announce to the Live Music list whaen I was about to do a show. Nothing ever showed up.

Yep - I still get this behavior occasionally as well. Closing down the IM session, and retrying seems to work - so its intermittent.

Just wanted to add we thought this was fixed--but clearly it's still happening. The issue has been reopened for further investigation.
