I've started putting lights in my treehouse and have run into the following problem.
I have a light source above a large linked platform. Sometimes it looks fine. But after walking around a little bit, the light stops showing on most of the platform. Only the root prim appears to still reflect the light.
Workarounds include moving the light source slightly or relogging, but the problem reappears fairly quickly.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Two snapshots are attached. One with the problem. and another a few seconds later after a relog.

Yet another Shadows Bug?

LOL, I turned off shadows and the light source seems to be stable.
It's too early to be sure, but I think the bug is related to shadows somehow.
Bummer tho, I really like shadows. I had turned it off because of the crash bug. I just turned it back on and now this.

No, it's not shadows. Turned it off and it's still happening. It's something else.

I've given up on trying to use lights until the version 2 renderer appears.
