Unfortunately...

Unfortunately ghosting cannot be cured by changing any settings. LCD (Flat screen) Monitors have to actually bend a crystal to change colors while a Plasma or CRT only has to redirect electric current. Because of this they have a certain "response time" Most LCDs have a response time of between 25-50 milliseconds. At this speed ghosting is very noticeable and is not fixable. There are special LCD Monitors that have lower response times available, such as 16,12,or even 8ms. On those ghosting is hardly noticeable at all. It sounds like your current monitor is one of the slower LCDs and nothing can be done to speed it up. The only way to get rid of the ghosting effect is to purchace a new monitor with a lower response time.
