Oh, for the love of lil green polka dots...

Last night, the texture search feature was down. Today, I can't delete objects without relogging, can't upload textures 99.8% of the time, and my avatar's skin is periodically being overwritten by the wallpaper in my skybox. It's also telling me on login that my current location is not available and I've been sent somewhere else, but once I'm logged in... there I am, back at home. Oo

Does anyone happen to know what might be behind any or all of the little fits of wackiness, or should I just assume it's part of the nature of SL and ignore it? *laugh*

I'm particularly curious about the wallpaper-to-skin mix-up. I like my skin as it is, and my avvie looks a bit odd made out of stone. ^^;;

Try uninstalling SL completely and then reinstalling from the downloads page. This usually cures these sorts of problems.

Yeah, just did that. Issue got worse for a bit, then better after I logged out somewhere else and logged back in again. Very odd, whatever it was.

Try changing your skybox texture to match the skin you want? LOL j/k... That was a LL technical reply....

Uninstall SL completely, defrag your HD and run a registry cleaner, then reinstall from a fresh download. See if that helps the texture issue, sometimes the SL db (data Base) files on your system can become corrupt.
