or something simular to that I know there is a handsake in there lol, I cant get past that before it sayus that it couldnt connect. I tried logging in from different locations to no avail.. any other suggestions?

I don't have any Firewalls running. I have McAfee but it is not installed for the firewall. The Windows Firewall is completely disabled when I try to log into SL.. I am on a desktop computer wired right to the modem.. any other ideas?
Im at a loff please help. I had no problems getting in the other night.. last two days have been like this tho =(
Im going to uninstall and reinstall just in case I might have messed up a file but I dunno how I would have done that lol

Ok I uninstalled.. Reinstalled.. rebooted.. rechecked all Firewalls.. started up SL.... nope.
Switched Log in areas... Nope
Tried my Husbands account.. nope
Still getting the same thing.. Waiting for region handshake.. then unable to connect to blah blah

still having this problem even after the update... please anyone help out here? I dunno what kind of system specs I have and I dunno how to check or I would post in here and let ya know.

I'm having login problems too. I get to the precaching part and it crashes and it takes between 15 or 20 attempts before I can connect. There seems to be no apparent reason why I am able to connect eventually, nothing has changed from my previous attempts.
This problem started immediately after last week's update (14th) I had never had any problem connecting previously. I was hoping that this week's update would cure it but unfortunately not.
I've checked my firewall, virus checker, I've rebooted and reinstalled the program but nothing has worked and I send in a crash report every time. I also have SL installed on a laptop and I connect perfectly every time on that.
I would be very grateful any clues as to what the problem might be.
