Hi all,
I've been getting flickering white specks or streaks in SL on my new machine. It's a Pentium-D 3GHz with Radeon X600 256meg. Kind of looks like I'm watching a DVD that the player is having trouble reading.
For a while tonight it was really bad, then the machine froze. I tried upgrading the video driver, which didn't help. This sounds like overheating, right? The video card has just a small, very hot, heat sink. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks, Travis

Could you post some more specs? (Run, Dxdiag)
And attach a screenshot or two? (Printscreen on keyboard, paste into image editing program, save as JPG, upload)

You may need to run a program like Drive Cleaner Pro, its free and it wipes all the old video drivers from your computer so you have a good, clean driver install. http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745It does sound like a heat issue, might try opening the case and blowing a fan across the heatsink to see if it affects anything.
