secondlife://Morris/128/128
secondlife://Sandbox_(combat)_-_Blue_Team's_HQ
And the biggest stumper for me right now is with
Sandbox - Weapons testing (no damage)
secondlife://Sandbox_-_Weapons_testing_(no_damage)
Any ideas? Thanx in advance!

secondlife://Morris/128/128 secondlife://Sandbox_(combat)_-_Blue_Team's_HQ And the biggest stumper for me right now is with Sandbox - Weapons testing (no damage) secondlife://Sandbox_-_Weapons_testing_(no_damage) Any ideas? Thanx in advance! ![]() _____________________

Putting "20%" where the spaces would go is in fact the "correct" way of doing it, I think, but dunno what to do with the odd characters

I prefer them because they look cleaner. I did attempt to replace the rest of characters with ASCII code equivalents just like the spaces, but that didn't work. ![]() _____________________

I just cut 'n' pasted your lower option with 128/128 added and it worked.
It (curiously) said it was sending me to Stagecoach Islandd but actually sent me to the right place. _____________________

[[Well I'm being too hasty here - forget I spoke. I was there and it opened with me still there - so it didn't work.--<---------I tried it from DarkWood and it did indeed work - but I wasn't quite in the spot I'd specified... and it told me I was going to SI

secondlife://Sandbox_-_Weapons_testing_(no_damage) testing and nope no worky alright, trying stuff Only reason i can see is that this sim ends the name with a " ) " I copied " secondlife://Morris/128/128", put that in the address bar, changed Morris to Stagecoach, and logged on with my normal SL id and password. It brought up the Stagecoach screen, appeared to get far along in the startup process, then crashed. Fine, I didn't actually want to go there, I was just interested by the seeming lack of distinction by Second Life and Stagecoach Island between each other. Then I copied and pasted the visible text in Thili's link into the browser address bar and that brought up the Stagecoach Island screen, and it took me to the Sandbox Weapons testing sim, showing Stagecoach Island in the title bar. _____________________

The problem if you have installed the stagecoach version of sl is that it will now handle all the url's instead of the normal version of sl, thats even after you have uninstalled it, you have to reinstall the normal sl to fix that, but even with that done a normal version of sl can login to places its not meant to be, like the stagecoach islands are actually numbered like
secondlife://Stagecoach_4/128/128 this wont let you in like you cant get back to secondlife://Orientation_Island_1/128/128 It will just log you into another location in the sim you were in when you logged off or that you set your home to at maybe a different location. This does take me to the sim, but with an error about my location being unavailable secondlife://Sandbox_-_Weapons_testing_(no_damage)/128/128 _____________________

I've completely uninstalled SI and my URLs are being handled by SL again. It's just that there's something very weird about the one region,
secondlife://Sandbox_-_Weapons_testing_(no_damage) ![]() Which, again, is puzzling in light of the other combat sandboxes working for me. At this point it seems to be a name-length problem but I'm really not sure. _____________________

I'm not sure what is wrong, i decided to add an "_" at the end incase they had added a space we couldnt see and it logged me in back home as if it wasnt a recognised sim so the url you are using and gives me an error is correct in the sense we have it typed in the browser correctly, there is just something that sl isnt liking about it. The exact error message i get, Is "Due to a server problem, your last location is not currently available. You have been moved to a nearby region. Feel free to explore here. Your home server should be up shortly." And its showing me that as i currently stand in the region i requested via the url lol

There is a setting in the Windows XP registry at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\secondlife\shell\open\command
which has as its value the program that gets executed when addresses that start with secondlife:// are entered in a browser address bar. Installing Stagecoach Island sets that value to the Stagecoach exe file. You can change the value to c:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe and that will cause secondlife:// urls to run Second Life instead of Stagecoach Island without reinstalling SL. Torley, what operating system and browser are you using? _____________________
