What a f* is going with this shit?

So...my conection is from Brazil ....20 days:

+ I cant walk. only spin
+ I cant make local chat
+ I cant use IM with my friends list
+ My inventory is incomplete (30% is loading and receive error message about "cant load gestures";)
+ I dont have my money - I need my money back!

We are stupids testing this shit without support? And the rights LL sailing to another countries? I need support, is my right. LL make the same with US users? What the diference with US users and others users? Attention press!!!

Again, someone please ban ths person as I suggested with thier other nonsense post. Since they don't understand how to form an intelligent sentence, nor read the information on the website on how to get help, let them leave SL if they are so unhappy.

My problem is: like too much SL, I buy 2 lands, but don have support to play the game and dont have my money. 20 days without conection...think about. If LL decide ban me maybe the "ban service" is more fast than your support;

Listen pal. I have read through all of your posts. You made 1 attempt to contact them via e-mail, which has been repeatedly stated both in the blogs and on the forums that there are issues right now. Did you bother to read through the help system and find the phone number for support? Did you bother to e-mail a Linden direct? Did you bother to ask nicely on here so that perhaps residents might be able to help you? NO...you flew off the handle swearing and screaming about a problem without giving any real useful info as to what the problem is. Try being proactive. Perhaps list the specs of your computer, the error message you are recieving, etc. Just saying I can't connect won't cut it. Then and only then might you find help.

Oh and a hint....asking nicely gets you a whole lot further with people.

For what it's worth- Felowen has given you good advice imo. I realize how frustrating it is- I too have sunk money into SL and am a premium subscriber with multiple accounts (connected) I have been unable to play since the middle of April, and have not had any response whatsoever to repeated requests for assistance from LL via phone & email. (See my post below "Thoroughly Disgusted". However, Feloween is correct- if we can keep our temper, and make our arguments strong, sound but POLITE- we will surely get further.

You are in Brazil I see. Please do not assume we US users have better Tech Support by the way ;) In my experience, we most definitely do NOT. I think this is a universal problem for LL- likely they are unable or unwilling depending upon the situation- to keep up with demand in terms of the size and scope of this project. Initially it may have been sufficient to have a few on-staff Tech Support folks, and now they find themselves swamped. But the thing is.. in the IT business you don't just sweep that under the rug and hope no one will notice. You can't - because your end-users are often just as informed as you are about the business (so many of us gamers being tech nerds ourselves lol) and they don't fall for lame excuses about everything being the end-user's problem etc etc. The trick is to hit them in the pockets- it's often the only way to get some grease to the squeaky wheel. Withdraw your subscription fees & use fair word-of-mouth about your own experience to spread the word and encourage change. These are just my thoughts though.

P.S. I suspect your native language is not English and I just wanted to comment that this does not make your posts unintelligent from my point of view. It is hard to learn & speak multiple languages- but much harder still to learn to write correctly in them. (A whole different ballgame from just speaking it properly.) I know this from experience because I've been picking up Spanish now for years- yet if I had to write in it today I'd be in a great deal of trouble! However, cursing and using huge fonts is considered very impolite. :) Have a great day.

Listen, did you even bother to do any research either? This guy has been complaining about not being able to get on for weeks, yet the only thing they did was send an e-mail to support. Oh but wait, you would know that if you read my post that you qouted. You make a ton of sense. You ask for me to be banned because I point out that the person should try to help themselves instead of going on and on complaining and not taking advantage of any help out there. Good luck to you.

Well guys, tks. I respect all opinions. I write 2 emails to support - no answers. I read all knowledge base about my problem with possible search words. Today is 21th day without Second Life and dont have one support word. I dont know why 21 days before my Second Life is ok, and dont have any problem, and now have the issues related. I see in the forum and I´m not the only one. Have some threads about network problems. I am frustrated and annoying about this. Second Life Is a great idea, sensational, but it is not what it is said in the press, mainly on the support. it had an aiming of net that favored the US users. I am following this in 21 days. Perhaps because the biggest number of users is from United States...maybe, but it is a very great coincidence.

Sorry my bad english, and sorry about "Second Life is a shit". Second Life is not a shit. The support is a shit.

actually Just, Linden Labs claims the majority of their user base is outside of the US... the US just makes up the single biggest country. Their support for everyone is absolutely HORRID... doesn't matter who you are, they are equal opportunity ignorers.

beyond that I cant tell you what to do, as your problems all sound like latency issues.

I myself and everyone i know in-world are having no issues at all, and its working just fine. It seems like a lot of people are having problems because they are mostly the only ones that come here to complain or talk about it, when the people who are OK aren't even looking to know anyone is having problems.

Symptoms are classic network problems which means there is a problem between San Fransisco California or Dallas Texas and your location. If you are in Brazil, there is a vary good chance there is a problem, likely latency as was previously stated unless you are on dial-up or low end broadband. You need to do a ping test to the server to see where the problem is.

SL isn't responsible for anything once the signal leaves the server building and can only hope the line between you and them will work as it is supposed to. The fact that the vast majority of SL users aren't having the same issues as you indicates it is something wrong with either your connection or your computer.

or it can be anything in-between in the path your data is taking to get back and forth that is completely out of your and LL's control

Tks Kathmandu. Everyday I use WinMTR to test when SL start a lot of messages error above in debug mode(control+shift+4). The bandwidth start +900 then drop down to ZERO:

21 days before my SL run OK and fast, but to try resolv this issues I reformat my HD and reinstall my genuine Windows XP Pro. Disable firewall, disable antivirus, I dont install anything and install a clean SL and...no way. I try install Linux (Fedora Core - Red Hat)to use SL Lx version and some issues...no way....

So, i´m lost, without oficial support I dont know what can I do.
