Ok so voice has never worked for me, i had it enabled but couldn't see any dots and no one could see one on me. I couldn't hear anyone let alone them hearing me. But now it has disappeared altogether  i logged in to find the talk button had disappeared so i went to preferances and the whole voice chat option is faded out and it says chat is not available. So as far as i am aware i have not touched anything to change this either inworld or on my pc in general. So even tho voice never worked for me to begin with, now its even worse lol. Anyone got any ideas? Or should i give up now because i have one big headache since they introduced this  |

No all connections are stable enough to support VIOP, there are websites that you can run a test to see what sort of quality your connection can support, but remember, to add on top of that, the SL bandwidth being used.
Are you using a wireless router/modem? They are know to cause issues.
