I run windows XP with my taskbar on autohide. When SL is minimised and I get an IM the taskbar pops-up and the SL tab starts flashing blue. Can that feature be stopped?

Group IM spam is "interacting" ? :p There are plenty of good reasons to want SL running but minimized. Clothing designers, for instance, need to toggle out to work on the clothing in Gimp or Photoshop, but need also to be able to toggle back in to see how it looks.

I didn't like the flash either, so I unclicked the option in Windows of always having the start bar on top. I'm sure there are other more precise ways to do it, but that worked for me, and it was simple enough I could manage it. "Start -- Settings -- Taskbar and Start Menu -- unclick the 'keep the taskbar on top of other windows'."
