Dell XPS H2O

I have an opportunity to get the top of the line Dell XPS 710 H2O. It has dual Nvidia 8800 GTX cards along with 4 gigs of ram with a Quad core processor (8mb 3.2ghz on each processor).

Although I'm extremely appreciative to my,,, shall we say 'benefactor',,,. I think this is quite a bit of over kill especially for SL.

Can some one suggest a lesser configuration on of the XPS 710 models?

Does anyone know of a person who is using a Dell XPS 710 in SL and are they satisfied with it's performance?
