Hello,

I have a problem I can't solve.
I see my torso naked.
Other people see me clothed, but I don't.
I can see my clothes on the legs and head, but not on the torso.

-Relogging doesn't help.
-Using Client/Character/Rebaking Textures doesn't help
-Changing 'Drawing Distance' doesn't help.

That's all I've tried so far.

One last thing: If I right click on myself and choose 'Appearance' I can see myself fully clothed in the 'Edit Appearance' window; but not in normal gameplay.

Thanks for helping

Try changing the avatar rendering setting

In the Edit/Preferences/Graphics Detail menu, there is a set of radio buttons for Avatar Rendering. You get three choices: Normal, Bump Mapped, and Bump Mapped & Cloth. (Depending on your video card, some of these may be grayed out.) Try choosing a different one; perhaps your video card and/or driver have a bug that interacts with this setting.

And, as usual, make sure you have current drivers for whatever video card you have. Or if you do, you might try going back to an older one; using Driver Cleaner Pro to completely remove the new driver first is highly recommended.

Try clearing your cache, too - I hope you have solved this already, though.

As we all know, clearing your cache solves EVERYTHING. So I have -purge enabled, but I still have "downloading clothing" everytime I log in (I know why, I just think it's funny).

Hope you solved your problem.

Well, it does help some texture-related problems. I didn't suggest moving-a-slider-saving-then-waiting-for-it-to-rebake as the OP had already rebaked. I suppose I could've suggested putting on different clothes. My first thought was that the number of garments displayed (in prefs) was short - but I have never played around with that at all and so didn't suggest what is probably a foolish idea.

Could the shirt sliders have been set to make it too small to see? Unlikely.

What would you have suggested?

thanks everybody for replying...

I solved the problem by updating the drivers of my ATI 9600 Video Card.
Just to let you know...
