Continually getting knocked off SL

My problem is that I will log onto SL, and then 15 minutes later my connection to SL will stop. It wil seem like I am still there, the screen remains the same, but my bandwidth goes to zero and I cannot move, or type or anything. I have to close SL, then log back in. Often when trying to log back in after this type of incident Sl will report on the screen that the region logout has begun. I then try again and I can connect for another 15 minutes before it happens all over again. i know that the region isn't logging out because everyone else in that region reports they did not get knocked off.

This has been going on for weeks, and is getting increasingly frustrating to the point that i don't even want to go on anymore.

What is going on? I have disabled my AV, Firewalls, reinstalled SL, updated video drivers, cleared cache and defragged my hard drive without any cure. My wife who shares the same cable connection and router as me has none of these problems. Both of our computers have been bought in the past few months, only difference being I run XP Pro and she runs XP Media.

Please help!

I think this is a known issue. I've had a problem like this for a while now and LL support are on to it apparently. I've only been unable to move a few times though, most of the time the game just crashes to desktop after about 20 mins.

Mine never crashes back to the desktop. It just sits there, unresponsive since it lost connection.

I am getting this same problem, SL's bandwidth just slowly falls down and then hits 0 and I cant move or do anything. I find myself having bad lag and flying through the grounds something. Some days its 15 mins before it drops to 0, others its every 3 minutes. It doesnt crash or disconnect me, I have removed the router and plugged directly into my cable modem and still the same thing. I recently moved, maybe its a problem on the route or the isp... Im not sure what to tell the isp though, Ive been playing fine till I moved and now I am getting this... What to do?

I am having the same problem, recently moved and went to cable from DSL and this happens when I check the map, the latency and packet loss shoot into the red, and now it is doing it when I edit my hair and try and change the color. Every time without fail.

Blimey - I thought I was the only one this was happening to.

Some days it only happens occasionally, but the other day I couldn't use sl at all, because as soon as I entered everything ground to a halt.
