I'm not sure how to describe this. When I log onto Second Life a second window opens up that is all the technical stuff, it's a black background with white text that says stuff like INFO LLViewerThrottleGroup endToSim: Sending Throttle Settings except a lot of lines. I don't know how it started but this popped up yesterday and when I close that window it closes the main window. Is there some way to get rid of this?

Client / Console Window (towards the bottom of the client menu) needs to be unchecked (no X in front of it)
(You'll need to close SL and relog to make it actually go away)
(Ctrl-Alt-D or Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D if you don't have the Client menu)

It's good to know what the box is since I was seeing it for a while myself. I must have accidently turned it on messing with stuff in the client menu and accidently turned it off again (I mess with things a lot ). But it never interferred with SL or caused any problems at all. Once SL is launched and your log in screen comes up it's behind it and you don't see it. It's part of the program that runs even if not visible so it doesn't take any resources away from your computer. I'm just wondering why, all of a sudden, it's had three or four threads started lately about it. I never even found it annoying.......just something new that started. Does it degrade performance in some way? I can't see it doing that though.
