Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database

I, like many others, would like an answer.

It may be back online but unfortunately, I now have more items to add to my “Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database” and upon calling customer service, all that can be done is a bug report and contact a Linden ingame.

When is this problem going to addressed and fixed and how many people has this happened to today? I would think this would be on the top of the fix it list. Why isn’t it?

For whom is it working? Everytime I log in this is what I see:

When I try to equip my stuff that was corrupted when I log in I see:

Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database.

So no .. it hasn't been fixed. When will it be?

You and me both. My personal hand made shape can't be worn because it's "missing" from the Database, and the wedding ring I just put on yesterday has been un-equipped because SL is "Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database."

Several of my jewelry attachments are no longer in my jewelry folder.. Necklaces, chains etc.. This has been missing for about 4 days now..

although a few other items are still there, my main peices are gone even my U2 ONE bracelet. Everytime I log on I hope they reappear but they dont.

I can only wear one of my shoes now and my hugger doesnt attach among other things. I did attempt to clear my cache and initiate a search of my inventory. thought i would be smart and drop the object (my shoe) and well.. wont drop. So i gave my shoe to someone. It said it was transferred, but the other person didnt get it. i logged back on and theres my shoe in my inventory, but cant wear it.

at least its not a lot of stuff. i dont mind wearing just socks. not going to buy anything until my inventory is fixed though. *shrugs* least i still see that i have it and its not really missing.

I feel your pain about the wedding ring Joseph. My wedding ring was one of the items that was corrupted upon my log in after the /sarcasm on/ wonderful update \sarcasm off\ we received yesterday. It was a custom made, one of a kind ring.

Still waiting on a Linden/Tech Support Rep reply .....

In the interest of not creating another post to clog up the forums, I am asking again...

When will the database issues and corrupted player items be fixed and what is being done from the technical standpoint to ensure that players will not continue to lose possessions.

I understand that the TOS states LL is not responsible, but due to the nature of the economy, I don't believe that will hold up. Players buy Linden dollars from LL, LL's platform gobbles up player items in database errors. Player must buy more Linden dollars from LL.

Seems to be a vicious circle and the players aren't the ones profiting.

That being said, I'd really like at least a reply and information and some idea of a time frame on fixing these items and the events that corrupt them.

...i still to this day am having problems...and the list is growing....one of the items a custom-made necklace..

I'm getting it *every day* !!!

A significant percentage of items are doing it, that I try, maybe even 10-20% - it's totally random but most often things I haven't worn or used in a while.

They usually will appear eventually either *sometimes* after a *long* wait before retrying or repeatedly relogging. Sometimes making a copy helps though thats not always possible.

C'mon guys !!!!!! Fix it for heavens sake its almost impossible to change outfits !!!!!!!!

I'm not normally short tempered but this is just grrrrrrrrrr
