Hi. I want to end my trial prematurely so I can sign up as an official premium member - But whenever I try to activate it, a message appears saying 'Unable to activate account', and it prompts me to try again. However, when I do, the same message appears.
This has been going on for several days, and none of my other accounts (They're all for friends of mine) allow me to do this either. I've updated my Paypal details and it's a verified account - Are there any workarounds to this?
I'm worried it won't let me activate the account when the time comes to actually paying it. Any help would be welcome.

Hi Ash, If you paid $9.95, for a basic, I believe you can go into settings in my account, accessed from the main page and change to premium from there and choose and option, this is what I did on my first day of being in SL, but that was a fair while ago. If its a free trial account, you should have your character after the 7days anyway, they will e-mail you and tell you that your trial is nearly expired and send you a link to continue so to speak. Fear not! you won't get away that easily

The link I'm looking at is in the My Account page; here it is pasted in its full glory. Activate Your Account If you wish to forego your free trial, you may activate your Second Life account immediately by clicking the Activate Account button below. You will be automatically billed, and your account will switch to a full membership with unrestricted resident privileges. [Activate account button] ---------------------------------------------------- Account Activation Activation failed. Return to Your Account and try again. --------------------------------------------------- Repeat unto infinity.
