Please someone help me. Last week I updated the driver on my nvidia GE Force 7300LE and my pc kept crashing. So I did a system restore to bring it back to before I did the update. Now when I double click the SL icon on my desktop to open up sl, it detects hardware and then does a crash report. I cannot get into SL at all now ( Please I hope someone can help me on this matter.

It sounds like your driver is probably corrupted. You might try downloading another, clean copy of the driver from nVidia's site. Then uninstall or delete the old driver from your machine (I think you have to restart after that) and then install the new driver. And make absolutely sure the driver you download is the proper one too. Your resolution and settings will be all messed up though Pretty easy to get it all back though.

not sure what was happening. But I downloaded SL again and installed it (without uninstalling the other version) and was able to get in. Thanks for your reply. Hopefully this is the last of my pc and sl problems

The last backup don't include video driver app, since you installed the new driver, the underlying driver code was changed. so you get crashing while you start the slcient. now reinstall the old nvidia driver that you can normally start the slcient.
