so i cant see any detail. only me, and a bunch of olive-green outlines. sometimes, i cant even move or fly. i can just spin in a circle. i can see other people, but they often have missing limbs. also, its as if i dont actually exist in the game. i can IM my sister, and send a teleport invitation, but she cant see me, IM me, or anything. we are on the same network in the house, which might have something to do with it, or maybe my inferior graphics card, a 64 mb radeon 7000. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

change your graphics card... 64 mbs.. does not cut it.. you should have atleast a 125 Navida minimum 125...

yeah, you see i dont have an agp slot, just a pci and i dont think i saw any 128 graphics cards with pci interface at frys. my sister is using a 32 mb graphics card btw... do you know of any graphics cards that are pci and would work well for SL, but dont cost too much?

Edit: might it have something to do with me only having like 256 md RAM?

Its not the video memory, its the model of the card. The ATI 7000 is toio wimpy for SL, the minimum is the 8500 although you can buy a Nvidia 5200 or 5500 PCI pretty reasonable which would be much better. Without an AGP slot you likely have a very old computer and may not meet minimum there either. 800mhz is what they recomend as the least speed to use with SL, I would say 1.2ghz would be more like it.

Yeah, my computer is really old. its got only 797 mhz. i think i would be better off with a new computer or something.
