I don't think I have ever crashed so much after trying to watch a movie on sl. Everytime I hit the play button, the whole thing crashes to desktop. Anyone else having this problem? It only started happening after this latest update.

Not just the last update, but since 1.6, certain movies or switching movies, clicking the play/stop buttons have crashes me some are reproducable and have been bug reported and some not, the quicktime plugin used then seems rather unstable and freaks sl out somehow, i've heard the quicktime 7 may be a bit worse but not too sure.

The movie thing is often hit ot miss with me. Sometimes it crashes, sometimes it works rather well. It does, however crash often enough to make me not use it very often.

Movie Crash - Quicktime 7 related

After I did an update from quicktime 6 yo version 7. I would crash each time i tried playing a movie. Certain movies it would play and others not. I uninstalled qt7 and installed version 6. All movies play fine now.  |
