no more first lands?

I asked this question in another thread but got no answer maybe it wasnt the right thread.

My question is: I am a new resident and can't find any First lands for sale when I do a search for First land, also I tried a search under All lands and I get a few with the name first land in the name but when I teleport there I dont see any land for sale and most the time I ended up in houses lol anyone knows whats going on with that? I thought there was always First lands to buy from Linden (the *real* ones, at $L1/sqm).

I'm probably not going to be very helpful but I have noticed a couple things.


I have noticed that being in different parts of SL seems to generate different First Land results (I have no clue why, but it does that on and off over the whole time I've been playing).

Also...

I have noticed that there are less and some times no First Land (maybe because there are so many new accounts or in some cases people might purposely be createing new accounts just to buy First Land and sell it... some times to themselves or their group).

I haven't seen any in the last month. Might have been unlucky in my search times, but it does seem odd.

could have to do with all the other asset issues, and sometimes there is just no first land.

try searching all land instead of first land, if you haven't already. first land will show up near the top if you sort by price per sq. meters. i -think- sometimes this will turn up stuff that doesn't always show where it ought to. sorry, memory is spotty but i think that's right.

Well the search isnt working right I think, I did try a search for All 512 sqm and 512L$ and I get all the lands for sale lol any and every price ... still no First lands tho, I will try different sims and see if I can find any, thanks for the advice, will let you know if I find something.

I don't think there's any First Land for sale right now.

I looked around the map looking for likely First Land sims, and they were all old ones.

Just hang on to your Lindens and try again later.

If I want land now, I have to buy it on the market. But if I buy land I forfit my first land opportunity. If there is not going to be first land available, we should be able to take a raincheck. In my impatient opinion in any case
