Hopefully this is posted in the right place - I just had a (probably dumb) question about things in your inventory. For items that say no transfer, is it really that you can't transfer them or just that if you transfer them you can no longer keep a copy of the item as well? I seem to remember accidently including a no transfer item in a folder of things I was trying to transfer and being told that the item was no transfer and something along those lines possibly.
I'm considering making a new account and sending over my entire inventory to the new account, but I have a lot of inventory items that are no transfer. Since I wouldn't be using the original account anymore, I wouldn't care if the items remained in that account as well, just as long as I can get them to the new account. Is there any way to transfer an entire inventory (or is this something that Support can do for me if I ask nicely)? Whether or not there is a way will probably be the deciding factor on whether I get a new account or not.
Thanks in advance!

No transfer items physically can't be transfered. At all.. If you include them in a folder, and send the folder, all the rest of the items will go, but the no transfer item would stay and you'd probably get a pop up box telling you that it had happened.. No Copy items CAN be transfered but you lose them out of your inventory.. Hope this helps!!

No-Transfer is just that, can't sell it, can't give it away, can't even let it go public (seeing as how Public no longer exists.) As for Linden help I'd guess no but it might depend on the Linden and how good your story is. I always thought the no-transfer permission was a bit rude considering it's so unenforcable except in a place like this... a clothier explained how certain dancers and/or clubs had a shared selection of outfits but then that's often true in *real* clubs. My only problems with ownership changing have to do with whether I wrote the llGetOwner code right (I *hope* no-one is having to give my MsPac costume to another dancer for that *certain* customer... <shudder> L8r, UU
