graphics card

i currently have an integrated graphix card which as you can imagine means i cannot play SL, i only downloaded it yesterday. anybody got any suggestions as to a good graphics card? eg, specifications etc. thank you

I give you same answer as I have read many times..:-))

You must give specifications of what type of comp you use.. system - more technical spec.. Then I can prommisse some technical guy will help you..

Actually, a fairly new system, even with Integrated Video, can run SL, but you might crash a lot as well if you haven't upgraded your video drivers to the newest bunch. I knew that held me over till I got a cheap ATI 9550.

I tend to prefer the Nvidia GeForce cards. Pretty much any of them will work, so just pick one that suits the computer you have, in terms of the bus it uses (AGP or PCI), and the number of dollars you want to spend on processor speed and memory. :) For my low-end P3 I bought a rather cheap one, since the computer CPU was going to be the bottleneck, and I run SL with no problems, other than it being slow, which was expected.
