tommorows "update"

Looking at the "fixes" of the new update from the beta it seems "meh" not too much has changed.

Yet we will have to wait half the day to get on secondlife (surely longer) just for a few small bug fixes

what about:

- major lag issue fixes?

- fixes with avatars not showing up at times

-fixes with missing textures?

- fixes with crashes which is happening more often

-fixes with game stuttering at times. (long pauses)

-fixes the teleport feature when trying to teleport someone that is not in your friends list but you have viewed there profile (i was told this would be fixed)

basically we have to wait around tommorow for fixes that really arnt going to cause much improvements in second life

typical of second life. i dont think ive seen a major "update" that actually fixed/added anything great in quite a while.

instead it seems we sometimes even get updates that make things stop working

(like the search for online people...i mean come on! that was cool! to be able to find people that were online but no...lindens had to decide that just was too cool...)

i mean other sites have it. yahoo messager has it ...myspace has it . why not be able to search for people online? if people DONT want to have there online status displayed in searches then have a option to UNCHECK it...

seriously i only keep playing it because of the number of people you can meet and because i dont have to pay for it .

but there are a LOT of major bugs/technical issues /features that really need to be fixed or added.

then maybe the 6 or more hour downtime every wed might actually be worth it...

I read the blog an hour ago, the list of 'fixes' is quite substantial... what it doesn't tell you is all the serverside fixes as well.... it does represent a significant update as they have officially dropped several decimal places and gone to 1.15.... In response to your concerns.. I hear you... <waits for the day.. 3.00 is realeased>
