I'd be interested to know if this has happened to other people as well.
This has been going on for maybe a week now. First I noticed it when I went and bought a flexi prim dress. I had it, the next minute it was gone from my inventory. I IMed the creator, and she was a doll and sent me 2 dresses, free of charge. I didn't dare tell her neither was the one I originally bought...after all, she did give another for free... Same day, I bought some other things, didn't even notice they were missing until I got a report some items have been returned to my Lost and Found -folder, from the place I bought them, and I sure as heck hadn't rezzed them there and just forgotten them.
Second time, I bought 2 sets of textures, one of which disappeared in a few days, so I IMed the creator of those, he sent me new ones, free of charge. Today, I was texturing some furniture, unpacked the textures from a box, saved them in inventory, editing in "Select Texture" box, when the textures disappeared, WHILE I WAS EDITING WITH THEM. They were also non-copy, so there aren't any copies of them around. And I don't have the balls to go ask the texture maker once more... if he could send me the other set again also...
I contacted Live Help, they said empty cache and relog, I said I've done that before, didn't help, they said but I've seen it help, just do it. I did, no sight of missing textures. I have filed a bug report, but it won't bring me back my textures! Or anything else I've lost either. I'm starting to get a little fed up with it already, combined with all the other bugs crawling all over me. And I don't need to hear it's my graphics card, thank you. Or maybe this is a new way to take extra lindens out of circulation..people having to pay twice for things they bought...
