Global map not updating

This has been going on for the last few days now. About 3-4 days ago the global map cleared all of the buildings and what not and just showed the topography of the land. It appears that some sims still retain their satellite view of the buildings but on the mainland where my stores are, it has not updated at all and the map still shows just the land, not the buildings.
