the second life auto-update has failed...

i get it from time to time

just download it and install it without uninstalling SL and its updated, just saves you a cupple clicks

Still, this shouldn't be happening. I had the same issue on both my computers, and I have never seen this before. It's something they should be made aware of, if they aren't already. The whole point of an automatic updater is to make it so the client doesn't have to go to your page to get a new version (that in the end benefits you by their running it as much as it does them).

Please fix this. Thank you.

I got the same message as well.

I went to the SL download site and downloaded it manually.

I got the message too, it's worth posting that its happening so they can see there's an issue.

yup....happened to me for the first time too, then I manually downloaded and then after using the client for about 15 minutes it crashed and now I can't get in....can somebody please look into this? otherwise I aint' gonna be downloading those opptional thingies...arrggg.

it doesnt help me any, i have multiple computers too, and i just find it easier to download the client once and install all the computers off that one file ... saving me and them bandwidth but thats just me, im not trying to be argumentative
