In trying to log on today, the client tells me there is a new version. I tell it to download and when it comes time to install, it tells me that 1.11.2(4) is already installed and it asks if I would like to install it again. I say yes. When the client reopens, same cylce repeats, says there is an update, downloads it, installs it saying it is already installed, reopens client and says there is a update again.
Perhaps the new update is not posted yet, even though the server tells the client that it is.

I'm getting the same issue. I even uninstalled game, reinstalled, then the update comes up again. I download it and say already installed but still can't actually get in the game.

Well, the only thing I can think happened is they told the servers to update us, but did not post the update files, so the servers see our version as being "old" yet they having nothing new to replace it.

I too have problems. Status is offline, but i checked announcements forum and last message is saying that grid is reopen. Strange.

Updater will go in loop as its trying to update and it doesnt have the new version to download yet
Youre far better off just going to; http://secondlife.com/community/downloads.php When it has the right version get it Remember the webpage doesnt update fast so when its just about to open its usually on it. current ; 1.11.3.1 |
