Just yesterday, the game was working fine. Now it crashes whenever it does "Detecting Hardware..." when started up. Very odd, I never did anything for the past 24 hours except having the game on. My video card is fine too. Did they do an unanounced update that causes this?
Laptop specs: HP ZD7000
3.2Ghz
1gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce FX Go5700 128mb
60gb hdd

I have the same trouble on my 6800GT, sometime the game start and sometimes the game show me that error message. Try to reinstall your nvidia drivers, that work for me. (that quite annoying since each time that happend you have to reinstall them > 6x so far)
