What should I avoid?

I've actually, so far, got a non-problem. My graphics card is an Intel82865G with the latest drivers, and SL is working really well for me so far (2 days only, but...)

Since the tech support says definitely no Intel, I was wondering which areas will most likely tend to cause problems, since I don't have current plans to upgrade my internet machine. (my non-internet machines have top end nVidia cards, but that's another story - no way am I risking compromising them with an internet link)

Any suggestions of stuff to avoid?

Why avoid anything? You can run SL with a video chipset thats not officially supported. I say go everywere, and see what makes you crash. Before you do that, set home (the place where you materialize after logging in) to a known safe place. Also set your login location to "my home".

Thanks, Teeny - that's actually my primary strategy at this point.

But, since I'm sure others have/are working with the same general stuff, I thought I'd see if anyone had already developed more specific answers before I go blithely crashing my way around SL.
