SL video extremely slow with Quicktime 7 |

I just installed quicktime 7 on my mac (10.3.9) and every time I try to stream a video in SL, the frame rate goes from 15 to 2-3. It also seems to crash occasionally.

Yeah, it begins.
The QT plug was a masterstroke in every way except one very very painful one: Upgrade cycles. It's quite possible apple may release an upgrade which kills everyone's SL client. I guess SL will just have to make sure they download the upgrades before the people in SL at large do and prey they can always find a workaround. _____________________
