Camera Block and Sound Stop scripts?

I noticed something that is a really large problem for anyone who is either renting a place to live or building apartments as a way of earning Linden... the walls are all too flimsy to be more that figuratively there. If you use the camera controls, you can move right through the walls, watching anything on the other side, and sounds pass through walls and floors with equal ease, letting anyone who wants to eavesdrop on anything going on; private conversations, intimate situations... anything.

Is there, or is someone working on... For that matter CAN it be done... a set of scripts that can be placed in a prim that blocks people from passing the cameras through it, or muffles or blocks sound from being heard through it? These things would be REALLY useful... and for the one who created them, really valuable. Think of not only the apartments being built, but the old ones that would need them put in place to compete with the new 'secure' apartments.

Can someone who knows reply to this, I really want to know the answer. ...And as far as the security systems out there, they only work to an extent, moving the person away after a time. Leaving the person to be able to listen and see inside for a while.

Can't off you any help about the camera control, but I highly recommend you use IM for private or intimate conversations.

From a building stand point the way you can move prims a good distance utilizing the camera and pass through things is a great feature. Try having to move your entire store or house to a new part of SIM because land owner has changed stuff around and you will be thankful for this feature. It saves you linking everything and taking it into your inventory (which for some reason can screw settings on items for sale). Instead you do temp link of everything and slide to your new location.

However, I understand your concern as someone can be a good distance away and snoop on your activities. I am not doing anything in SL that I really give a crap whether people spy or not, but still its weird.

You can perhaps get one of those scanner devices that tell you who is in the sim and how far away they are. Gives you a bit of a heads up. I'm too lazy to mess with all that, but some of my friends have those and its pretty cool.

BTW say hello to Long Island for me :P

Privacy in SL only come if you own either a very huge land, or a sim,..well ok Sim work , its quite easy not to just zoom through walls, but also grab peoples chat using scripts, wich is very very frown upon and susspendable btw :p
