Crash on login / clear cache

Seems everytime I login I'm having to clear the cache to prevent crashing. Any comments?

Sounds like you might have some small network problems that keep corrupting your cache. It might be worth tracing your network connection for packet loss.

You can also try defragmenting your hard drive.

If clearing cache is a solid fix for you, you can add -purge to the Second Life shortcut to do so automatically. The shortcut target should then read:

"C:\Program Files\Second Life\secondlife.exe" -purge
