Inventory Items being deleted

I was working on a attachment for my avatar, and took it into my inventory. When I tried attaching the object, I waited and then got the message: Item could not be rezzed (or something like that). I tried rezzing on the ground, but got the message about it pending, followed by could not be rezzed. I logged off and back in, and now my item is COMPLETELY gone. What happened?!? Why is all my hard work gone?!?

try deleting the cache, the client will be downloading the inventory again so it might appear again

I've already read the forms abit, but how do I clear out the cache?

prefs -> Network -> click the clear cache button and restart the client

else u could go to the cache directory and delete all files manually when sl is closed

This is the rez bug everyone has been complaining about. There are numerous posts about this scattered throughout the forums. This bug is also one of the problems mentioned in Project Open Letter. Read the blog go find out more about this, and cross your fingers that LL will finally do something about it.

Meh, Im still keeping the faith, but my item is gone, thank goodness it was self made and easily replaced...I just feel sorry for the business people this happens too :/

Okay, I was on, I was wearing a few objects, an ao, a hud for a collar with ao stuff in it, expensive glasses, and a few other items. Most of the stuff isn't important, but the things that have my ao in it, my glasses my hair that had scripts in it, those things are in my inventory, yet can't be attached. I get the messge, object missing from dadtabase. Anyone know how to fix this? I've already sent a bug report but haven't heard anything and it's been about 4 days now. Thank for any help you can give.
