Since the optional patch, I've been requested to install the patch, as it appears that my current version is not updated. Today, I update to the latest version and 'lo and behold, "There is a new version available, it must be installed." Install or Quit.
Okay... fine... Install...
Version is already installed, reinstall, continue. Pressing Continue closes... Second Life. I relog, ... new version available.
Fine... uninstall the entire program, then reinstall the latest version from the webpage....
"There is a new version available, it must be installed."
Fine... Install...
Version is already installed... Reinstall or Continue?
So let me get this straight? I've got to Reinstall the new patch every time I try to log on now if I want to play Second Life?
Any suggestions on what might be going wrong?
