I click the Second Life button on my desktop, however the log in screen never shows up! Second Life was working fine yesterday. I tried restarting my computer and reinstalling SL. So far nothing has worked.

I've been trying to log on for a few hours now...

Yikes Eugene what happens if you go to click the actual SecondLife.exe executable in the Program Files ---> Second Life folder? (Instead of a shortcut.)
And this is 1.7.2 (4) you have installed, and you totally downloaded a new copy from http://secondlife.com/downloads/ today? And if that didn't work you uninstalled first, wiping all of it off, and reinstalled? (I had this problem before and this is similar to what I had to do.) _____________________

Well i just went to program files and tried to started up SL... it didn't work :/ I just uninstalled and downloaded 1.7.2 (4), it didn't work either Wait, it did work! YAY!
