I just purchased a new 17" MacBook Pro part #MB350LL/A with Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.6 GHz, 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 4 MB L2 Cache, Bus Speed of 800 MHz, with a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT Video Card.
From what the Apple Store says I crash all the time in 2L because 2L doesn't have this graphics Card Configured yet. Will this be done soon? I bought this computer to use for 2L & it only works for about 5 minutes then crashes.
Please I hope someone can help me figure out what to do :)

The Apple guys told you that... wow, talk about a gross conceptual error. No, SL doesn't work that way... games and apps don't , in general, either. They may have meant that Nvidia, the maker of the video chip, might not fully support the chip in it's latest drivers. Being a Mac, you might have to wait a while.

Usually, though, the culprit in a situation like this is usually the shared video memory a laptop uses instead of dedicated video memory that a desktop video card would use.
