Since log on this morning, I've not been able to get music on my island, nor was there any on any of the other places on the mainland that I visited.
I've tried relogging, and am even streaming from my own stream, and still nothing in world.
Any ideas?

First, check whether your sound interface is working at all. Are you hearing the other sound effects -- footsteps, the sounds on opening and closing windows, and so forth? How about sounds from elsewhere in your operating system -- anything? If not, you may have forgotten to turn your speakers on, or they may be unplugged from the computer, or they may have broken.
Second, relog. It often fixes things.
If that fails, reboot your system. Sometimes the sound hardware and/or software gets stuck, and you can't fix it any other way. If that STILL doesn't do the trick, power-cycle; actually turn the computer off, leave it off for at least a minute, then start it up again.
