I have noticed that SL has been responding a little slower the last few days. In doing some digging I found that lsass.exe is taking about 10% of my CPU time. Anyone else see this? When I close out SL it drops to 0. Just to see what would happen I started a second copy of SL (have duel core system) and the usage for lsass.exe humped to 15%. That's a lot for a system process that is just supose to process loging and such. HELP?

LSASS.exe is a windows process related to network security, as I recall. However, there is also a trojan that hides as "ISASS.EXE", using the fact that the default system font in windows has a lower case "l" and a upper case "i" look basicly identical.

Find out which you have!

I have checked for the fake lsass and I only have the correct one. The key to me is the fact that usage drops to 0 when I close out SL. There seems to be something in SL that is causing the excess usage. ??????
