i play sl on two differnt computers (one at work and one at home) the comuter at work has only 256ram and a basic graf card which sl runs great. my computer at home has 768ram and a radeon 128 card this is where i'm having problems, i connect through dsl with a 300 mbps. everytime i play sl at home my avie can't move or if she does it will lag or something and i end up half the screen away or more it take me 10mins to fly anywhere do to the same problems i've tried to tweak the controls in the graf section of the game. my drivers for my card are all updated please help me!

SL is CPU-bound. The most important parts of your computer for SL are your CPU, then systen memory bandwidth and AMOUNT of RAM. What CPU do you have at home? What CPU do you have at work?
Hit Ctrl-Shift-1. Under "Basic", what does it say for both "Ping Sim" and "Ping User"? _____________________

the card is a 9200 and my computer is only a year old the one at work is over two years. i'm not sure what cpu i have i know i have p4 768ram and a 128 gcard

Okay, that's an insanely high number. Are you using a wireless network at all? Are you running any other network apps on your computer, or on another computer on your network? Gnutella, BitTorrent, or anything like that?

What kind of internet connection do you have? When you say 300mbps, can you verify that on DSLreports.com? (http://www.broadbandreports.com/stest)
