Can't upload images

I tried three times to upload an image, and each time I got an error to the effect of "The server is overloaded, please try again later." (I can't remember the exact wording of the error, I quit out of frustration before looking more closely.) The thing that really bothers me is that even though the image was not uploaded, I was still charged for the uploads. Granted, L$30 is not a lot, but it sure is annoying when one doesn't have a lot of L$ to begin with. Anybody else had this? Any way of getting around it, or is it just a "wait for the Lindens to figure out what they're doing" situation? And what are the chances of getting my L$ back for the failed uploads?

The chances of getting your lindens back are probably nil to zero, though you can try putting in a ticket. I've had textures fail to upload and have been charged anyway in the past. I think maybe 3 different times all together.........on two of those times nothing ever showed up later in my inventory but on one (at least) the texture showed up later. Maybe a couple hours later. Give it some time and check your inventory........they may be there.
