Inventory Objects Missing

I have lost a lot of objects in my inventory today.

Most are empty folder.

What is happening?

The same as is happening to a lot of residents. Try logging in at location Hahne (an empty sea plot). If that doesn't bring up your items, try searching in your inv for something with an unprobable name like xxxxxxxx or zzzzzzzzzz.

Oh yeah, and empty your cache first.

i tried all of these and still nothing! $4000L worth of shoes all gone! /me cries her head off!

OMG the same thing has happened to me. I have sent an issue report to linden because I am not gonna put up with this issue. I have spent way too much rl money on linden to not be able to use the things i have paid for. and it's only happening to my clothing folder, only some things work and some dont. how exactly do i clear the cache? i'd like to try this to resolve my problem

I did a clear cache and relog. Things are back in my inventory now.

To clear cache, go to Edit, Perferences, Network, Clear Cache.

Quit and restart Viewer.

Nora - if you are still following this thread, you should contact as many of the creators of the shoes as you can remember. Most shoes are copy/no transfer so it shouldn't be a big deal to get replacements from the creators. I know this is my policy at my shoe store.

You can find the item names and dates in your transaction history to back up your claim of purchase.
