I am seriously stuck at connecting to region. Been there for half an hour already LOL. THink we about to have another run of login problems.

When I try to log in I get a message 'Logging in. Second Life may appear frozen.', and nothing happens until it throws me to start menu. Is this the problem you're talking about? I'm still new at this, and trying to find out if there's something wrong with my computer or the whole game?

It just happened to me too. After recieving really weird pop-ups I had never seen before ingame, I decided to uninstall SL and get it back, and log. Took about 14 minutes, but now I am in. Just hold on, you'll be allright

I too am getting trapped at the login page, right about when it says "Connecting to Region" halfway through the whole login thing...
I'm a brand new member, an havent even seen the world firsthand yet... its kinda disheartening when the game a few friends idolize happends to not work for you...
Any suggestions or fixes for me?
Again, i'm totally new to this, so i'm not sure exactly how long the login is supposed to be, but i've let the page stand for about 30 mins, at 5+ different tries now, an i'm gettin tired of it...
