If this is some kind of known issue, I apologize, but I'm unaware of it and this is my first experience with it. Just looking for an answer to it...
After recently finishing a small build, I went to copy and package the thing when I discovered I could not due to perm problems..at first I assumed it was a texture or something I had overlooked, but that was not the case. I ended up completely disassembling the build to find out what was keeping me from copying it, when I discovered one of the prim used in its construction contained somewhere in the area of two hundred objects appearantly taken from my inventory. The inventory objects were seemingly random, some created by me, others not. Everything from textures to clothing. I need to emphasize this point: This was a single prim I created out of nothing...it was not something I took out of inventory...it did not contain any scripts of any kind...how my inventory objects got there is a great concern to me..and I truly need to find out what has caused this.
Anyone have any ideas?
I am going to dig into this particular problem until I get some kind of satisfactory explanation from our good friends at LL. I can live with all the other issues that have been going on, but when my inventory comes into any kind of serious danger I have to at least know why...I cant help but to ask myself, if this is going to happen again and if so, what will I lose before I am aware of it? Is it going to be necessary to check the contents of every single prim I rez in SL from now on?
