you need to check that the pci ones are not pcie if they are then there are some good pcie cards

but for the most you need to pick a card that will go into the agp slot

I saw a good post earlier that had all of the slots in one.

Shows from left to right :-

PCI, PCI-E and AGP port. The AGP being the yellow one but in your case its a brown AGP.

That's not an AGP slot.

I asked "Is that AGP port on the PCI-E bus, the PCI bus, or the AGP bus?"

No, it's not, it's not even AGP. It's a "future CPU" slot, to let you upgrade beyond Socket 939 to Socket 940 using an "AM2CPU" card.

But AGP slots do look very much similar to that one.

Ok, found another one, I installed this in my uncles computer. MSI doesn't call it an AGP slot because there are a few cards out there that its not compatiable with but it does accept most AGP cards, I tried several and they all worked fine.

Left to right

3 PCI slots (white), 1 AGR slot (pretty much a AGP except its yellow), 1 X16 PCI-Express slot, 1 X1 PCI-Express slot.

As for what bus it runs off of? Your guess is as good as mine, I never checked that out.
