Odd Forum behavior

This is actually been going on for a long time but maybe its a feature not a bug? When I log on to the Forums it also logs me on to the Second Life Web site. This is quite inconvinient as when I log off the forums I also have to go to the Web site and log off there. Some times I forget and the Web site stays logged on, which bothers me as my personal info might be available to anyone? Is there some way to change this Forum log on behavior?
