I've searched the forums and can't find anything that quite relates to the problem I'm having.
All day things have been loading sporatically if at all. I'd rezz a prim and it would take 20 minutes to show up, I can't see people who are standing right in front of me. Then I noticed something odd. If I go to the next sim over, things would start to load in the sims adjacant to me. However, if I'm *in* the Sim, nothing loads (or very sporatically a few prims will show up).
The I noticed (after I flew to the next sim to let a shop I wanted to visit load) that I cannot interact with vendor. I click on an arrow to go through the items and nothing happens. If I go to the next sim and swing my view around into the store, I can browse to my heart's content.
Any ideas/suggestions/has this happened to you before?
EDIT: Things are loading a little better...was able to be on a private island sim and things started showing up (very slowly, but earlier they weren't showing up at all). Sound like a hardware issue on my end?

hay! Ok what isp/speed do your internet have first, then second the normal do you know what your computer spec's are (cpu, ram, vidcard, ect). If you dont know what your comp is made of you can do this Start / run / cmd [enter] in that type dxdiag Look at Processor : xxxx mhz page file : xxx stuff xxx Under display Name : xxx name of vid card xxx aprox total memory : xxx mb Sounds like youre on a really slow internet or firewall/router is blocking you, check your ctrl-shift-1 , look for Basic - fps , Packet Loss % , Ping User, Ping Sim. Sl really need least 2ghz+, 1gig ram , any vid card gforce/ati 128 ram+, 1+ mbit isp,, Well thats what id recommend anyway

I'm on a 3MB/768KB connection. 1.5 processor, 1Gig Ram and a 64MB GeForce4 Ti400. I have a combination modem/router made by Zoom technologies, which I've disabled the firewall function on. However, it still seems to mess with things like BitTorrent, but had been behaving with Second Life. I'll try swapping out some equipment today, I think I have a bridged modem around here. Thanks for the response.
