Hello,

I am desperately hoping someone can help me. I installed 1.14 a while ago and i had lots of crashing going on...so they told me to revert back to 1.13 and it was fine for a few days and the crashing came non stop after several reinstalls too, even with the update it is just as bad....i can be anywhere or do anything and it freezes. I even had it freeze before i logged in once this morning.

No error messages, just entire computer locking up..forcing me to cold boot each time.

I've done things like lower some of my preference settings. I've reinstalled the latest drivers for my Radeon x800 graphics card. This is so frustrating and SL isnt responding to my calls :(

PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE! :(

Have you tried turning down the graphics settings? I found I crashed alot if I had VBO enabled, seems a few people have that problem also

It also could depend on your processor and graphics card. Another cause of it could be that your computer is overheating and freezing that way. Second Life takes ALOT of process power my comp runs pretty hot with SL running. What I suggest to first try is to take off the side panel of your comp and place a fan there to cool it down if it is hot. When my comp gets to really high temp levels Second Life alot of the time crashes on me and my comp occasionally freezes up completely.

Well, since it didn't start till the last update, I would think this should be less of a problem.

I did turn off the VBO, and at first i thought it was correlated with higher temperatures (in the 40s) but even during really cold days its still really bad, when temps are below 40 and in lower 30s.
