I have noticed a new oddity when loging into my last location with SL v1.6.2(3). While the login progress bar is filling, you see a snapshot from the world as you logged out. Under this latest release, when the snapshot is replaced with the "live" world, there is either a small rotation or translation from my last position to my new position. This is very repeatable.

I'm hard pressed to call this a bug as it isn't really affecting anything. However, I think it warrants mention as it is new and may reflect some error in position storage code.

Malachi,

I have noticed the same thing. My view when logging on appears to be from where I logged out, even though I have my login set to home. I have tried resetting my "home" location. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I've even taken a snapshot--showing me outside of my house while I watch myself float in the air as my house fills in around me!

SL's version of an "Out Of Body" experience?
